rPI 5 was released with an upgraded CPU:
- rPI 4: quad-core Cortex-A72 processor @ 1.8GHz
- rPI 5: quad-core Cortex-A76 processor @ 2.4GHz
The rPI5 also has a custom IO chip for much of the IO.
