I just tried Cosmic in Arch Linux – works pretty well, and I like the keyboard shortcuts for window movement, tiling, etc. However, I ran into a few issues:

  • unable to copy passwords from my password manager to browser, etc,
  • fonts in Chromium don’t seem as clear and seem hard on my eyes

I like the simplicity and will try again at some point …

Came back into KDE and fans were running full speed – looks like cosmic-settings is running away. OOM killer soon killed it.

So its sudo pacman -Rsu cosmic for now :slight_smile: – will try again once it is released.
