Often when I’m upgrading a project to a new version of Yoe, I’ll start with a clean Yoe directory, and then diff in changes from the previous build. There are tradeoffs – upgrading this way is usually cleaner and less work, but you do loose the history of changes. In this case, it is useful to have a tool that will compare a directory of changes vs individual files. I recalled using Meld years back and tried it for this task – worked very well.
