This is a great episode if you want a glimpse into the future of Elm. Most of the innovation is happening in tooling around Elm. It seems the Elm core language lends itself very well to this type of innovation and the tooling is very good (elm-review, elm-watch, etc). When you get the design right and simplify it down to what is needed, then not much has to change as has been demonstrated in the Elm core language.
