As time goes on, things are getting cleaner, better, simpler, and easier to maintain, which is an indication we are on the right path. This is the test of good technology – as time goes on, does it get easier or harder, cleaner or messier, more fun or less? If the former, then there is a good chance you have discovered some fundamental truth. Technology and great development are not so much inventions as discoveries.
