I’m just seeing that the new features/models might not be included in the flat-rate plans. That is a nice way to phase users into usage models over time as new models and features are released.

One person’s experience with this model:
I did use Fable for several tasks this past week. One was getting a headless Wayland system with Gnome on Yocto. It’s hard to know if Fable did better than Opus with this task.
We’re introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 on most work and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.
I’ll update my comment in the previous post, in the past Fable was definitely better than Opus at things like planning and review. I’ve been really pleased with Fable, but looks like I’ll no longer need it for most things.
