Saw an interesting workbench at Home Depot the other day that might make a nice standing desk. With the crank, you can easily adjust the height. The surface is not as large as the one I built, but it is ready to go and adjustable. The drawers in this unit are very nice, and it has a power strip built into the side, etc. The tables with the white legs behind this unit also have an adjustable height.
